Our Commercial Collections Practice
We work with a wide variety of businesses, providing a broad range of services to help you collect on commercial debts. Our clients include food service companies, landscapers, manufacturers and professionals. We also represent creditors in bankruptcy proceedings.
When you hire us, we’ll first attempt to determine the likelihood of collecting your debt without resorting to litigation. In most instances, we’ll make an initial demand prior to filing suit. If negotiating a structured payoff is not feasible, or your debtor shows no willingness to cooperate to settle the debt, we’ll prepare and file all necessary documents to pursue your remedies through the courts, including information subpoenas. Mr. Sobel will gather and preserve all relevant evidence and will be your advocate in all hearings and proceedings, from deposition to trial. We’ll also handle any post-judgment discovery proceedings.
We can handle commercial collections on an hourly fee basis, or a contingent fee basis, where we’ll take a percentage of any debt we collect.
